A Message from Chief Therapist Officer CAPT West

Profession Therapist

As a USPHS therapist officer specializing in occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, audiology, or respiratory therapy, you will work throughout the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and in other Federal agencies and programs—caring for patients in underserved communities while working on the front lines of national and local public health endeavors. You’ll be offered greater work variety than you'll find in common therapy practice settings and the satisfaction of making a difference. As part of a unique team of committed health care professionals, you’ll enjoy leadership opportunities, excellent benefits, and work/life balance, all while improving and advancing the health of the Nation.
