What We Do
We focus on improving physical health for entire populations. Medical officers provide direct patient care, but many also work on organized community disease prevention and treatment programs to help reduce overall rates of disease. Special Degree and License Requirements
All Commissioned Corps officers must meet several basic qualifications: You must be a U.S. citizen, be 44 years of age or younger, and pass a physical examination. To be a medical officer, you also need to meet the criteria detailed here.
